Wicked in Oz Parties!

Elphaba and Glinda have sent word that the power mad Wizard of Oz has told the people of Oz nobody is allowed to celebrate their birthdays anymore so, with the help of our magic glitter dust, we travel on a tornado where all kinds of items fly past us as we spin around (including a house, a chicken and a cow!) until we land on top of the rainbow we’re supposed to be going over! We need to finish making the rainbow so we can go over it and so we create the rest of it with our magic rainbow makers and slide down it into munchkin land! 

When we land we discover that the chicken and the house that was flying in the tornado with us have also come over the rainbow and the house squashed a wicked witch, leaving only her magic ruby slippers poking out! We save the slippers for later, decide to take the chicken with us on our adventures and the Munchkins ask us to send the house back over the rainbow, so we get our magic parachute out and throw the house high back up into the sky until it goes back over the rainbow. We then learn all about the people and land of Oz by doing our Oz impressions (including using Elphaba’s magic to defy gravity), practice Glinda’s magic spells with special Oz wands and join together to follow the yellow brick road deeper and deeper into the forest where we get hungry and have to take some apples from the trees! The trees come alive try to stop us from taking their apples but we manage to get away and we run all the way to the Emerald City! When we arrive we discover that the Wizard has joined forces with the Gnome King and is putting a spell on the people of oz to turn them all to stone because they won’t do what he wants! We need to run away from the flying monkeys and escape the castle so we don’t turn to stone and then we can find a way of breaking the spell and saving Oz.

We manage to outrun the monkeys but the Wizard has planted some magic poppies outside the castle to put us to sleep! We rely on the good witches to keep us awake with a magical emerald from Elphaba and a snow storm before escaping and using Glinda’s magic bubbles we break the spell! Once the spell is broken everyone comes back to life we celebrate by clicking our heels three times and saying “there’s no place like home”.
