Our Woodland/Forest themed party is designed to immerse the children in a forest adventure as we learn all about the animals who live there and celebrate their wonderful forest lives before adopting a beautiful soft animal to take home!
We begin by talking about different kinds of animals and their homes and habitats, which leads us to our animal sorting game where we match all of our miniature animals from all over the world to their environments. The children will take turns selecting an animal from the bag, do an impression of that animal and then put it into the correct environment box – woodland, farmyard, ocean, jungle or home! This is great fun as the children all get their chance to do different impressions and learn about new animals and their sounds! Once we’ve sorted the animals we discuss the woodland environment, explore the woodland sensory tray and the children will be told that we’ll be adopting a forest dwelling animal once we’ve learned all about how they live!
We then move on to forest limbo, where we journey deeper into the forest and meet lots of different woodland animals! We learn how to move like them and make their sounds and we then begin a game of tree freeze, where we camouflage in the forest when it goes silent. Sleeping bunnies comes next as we honour the wild rabbits and then we meet a naughty fox who wants to steal all of the flowers that are going to be shared amongst all of the woodland creatures. We defeat the naughty fox and then do some nature magic to help the plants, shrubs, trees and flowers grow. At this point we ponder what the fox says and we dance around doing impressions until it’s time to go on a bear hunt.
It;s then time for our adoption part, where the children open the parcel to find a treat and a number that matches one of our beautiful woodland animals in the adoption crates. The children all get an animal and after making sure they have bonded, or swapping them for another animal, we learn how to take care of them by doing a health check with our medical sets and feeding them, giving them their medication and making sure they are totally ready for adoption!
The children will then craft a beautiful collar for them while thinking of a name and then we’ll sit together with some snacks and read a themed book. The children will be asked to read to their new pets every night as a condition of the adoption and then we’ll fill in their adoption certificates and do an adoption ceremony with pictures too!
Following this it’s then time for group photos, happy birthday and then individual photos and ones with their grownups and besties too if wanted!
Our adopt a pet parties are 2 hour luxury experiences for 6-12 children that bring together an immersive themed magical animal adventure party with a gorgeous, wholesome crafting and adoption element that makes your little one’s special day extra special!
As with all of our parties you’ll get a beautiful themed backdrop, non stop themed party entertainment with lots of immersive games, activities and props, themed music (and the option to add your child’s favourite songs onto the playlist to make their day perfect), tattoos, stickers, pass the parcel gift/treat, plus a magical photoshoot including group, individual and family photos. We always have a call the week of the party to go through all of the details too, so there’s no stress and you can relax knowing the only things you need to sort are the venue (we can sort this for you too if you’d like), the cake and some food, if you choose to feed the children!
