Welcome to Camp Peach! We’re going on a magical adventure into the forest for an unforgettable Camping themed experience!
We’ll begin the party by putting on our binoculars and explorer hats and discussing what we might see and experience when we go camping! We’ll then say a big Happy Birthday to our birthday child and let them lead us through the deep forest, going under the branches that get lower the deeper into the forest they go until eventually we reach Camp Peach where we gather together to settle into site. Unfortunately the last people to visit the camp left a huge mess of rubbish, which as we know, could attract unwanted visitors to camp! Our first task is to tidy up, but as we fill the camp bin a great eagle swoops from the sky to see if there’s any food amongst the rubbish and ends up throwing the rubbish everywhere! The children race to tidy up, even with the eagle making a big mess and then we chase him back off into the sky, leaving a nice clean site for us to explore!
To celebrate our arrival and a clean campsite we start off with a game of Forest Animal Freeze where we do our best dancing and then when the music stops we do impressions of a different forest animal each time; digging like badgers, wiggling our tails like foxes, jumping like frogs etc. It’s then time to put up our tent so we ask our grownups to come help us as we need to get the tent up quickly to avoid the storm.. which is getting closer! We all shake out our parachute tent and feel the rain starting (bubbles) and every so often the children hear a clap of thunder meaning they must rush under the tent to avoid the storm!
The storm passes quickly and we get the tent up successfully, leaving us to go on a bug hunt! We explore the surrounding areas to find a huge number of different creepy crawlies, so we play a game of finding specific bugs to put into our basket – bugs with wings, yellow bugs, bugs with more than four legs etc! Once we’ve collected all of the bugs we decide it’s time to go hunt for something bigger this time – a bear! We form a line and invite our grownups to join in (after all, a bear hunt is scary stuff!) and the birthday child joins Mrs Peach at the front of the line to lead the troop across some unusual terrain. We can’t go over it, we can’t go under it, so we go through it all and eventually find the bear who chases us most of the way back to site!
Back at the site it’s time to go fishing and catch our tea, so we head down to the creek and start collecting fish out of the water, but oh no! The bear has found us and he tries to steal all of the fish from us! Of course, we manage to outrun him and then it’s our turn to do a bear impression and scare him away before sitting down around the campfire with our pretend marshmallows and singing some campfire songs all together. Pass the parcel comes next followed by group camp photos, happy birthday and then individual photos of the guests, with their grownups too if they’d like!
Personal touches can also be added to make the day even more special, e.g. favourite songs, introductions of special guests (e.g. a parent or friend dressed up as a superhero, animal or princess etc) or even games/activities created specifically to suit a favourite themed TV, book or film character.
We reserve the right to change or alter the activities described above if there are special requests incorporated or as new games/activities are created etc, however we will always have a call with the party organiser the week of the party to discuss this, agree the party flow and ensure the celebrations are extra special for the birthday boy or girl!
All of our parties have a themed magic potion option to add on which works fantastically instead of a party bag! Adding on the camping adventure potion will allow them to create another themed gift to take home and remember their adventures!
Our camping adventure party takes the children on a magical adventure into the wilderness to experience lots of the things camping entails including putting up your tent, tidying the campsite, camp fire songs, bug hunts and finshig, however we also go on the wonderful adventure to find a bear! We can’t go over it and we can’t go under it..
Camping is a family activity so of course we try to get our grownups involves as much as we can! As part of all of our parties we take photos of the birthday child, their family and the guests but we also encourage the guests’ grownups to have photos in front of the backdrop with their little ones also so they get an extra special memory of the party too!
