We start our woodland theme birthday party by dressing up like real elves and fairies with our fairy wings, elf capes, flower crowns, forest headbands and elf ears, plus a floral or butterfly tattoo and stickers if they want! Once dressed up and looking like gorgeous woodland elves and magical woodland fairies, we discuss the magic we’re going to be encountering at the party and, if it works, that we’ll be turned into real elves and magic fairy princesses too!
We then learn a little about elves and fairies and get to try out a special ribbon stick as we begin with a folk dance to wake up the wild fairies in the forests around us and invite them to join the party. Fairy freeze comes next and then we discuss how elves and fairies have the best parties in the woodland at night under the full moon and the stars, at which point we get our sparkly stars out and try to keep them up in the sky while shouting HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the birthday boy or girl.
The enchanted forest birthday theme continues with our next game – the pine cone sorting game which requires two grownups from the audience (we ask the children to choose the cheekiest grownups!) who become naughty pixies and try to steal the pine cones as the elves and fairies try to get them all in the baskets.
It’s then time for Elf Nature Magic which involves lots of magical props and special effects to help it rain, to bring the sun back out and to make rainbows in the sky. And it wouldn’t be right to just learn Elf Magic, so we also spend some time at Fairy School where we test out our fairy wands with some extra special spells and even work some enchanted forest magic on our grownups!
The elf & fairy party pass the parcel comes next and everybody gets a quality enchanted forest themed piece of jewellery and a treat. We then round off our magical fairy birthday party adventure with a Fairy Finale by using our wands one last time to make it snow inside with snowballs and some real snow! We have a snowball fight and play in the snow before we sing Happy Birthday to the special elf or fairy and then move onto our group, individual (plus grownups) and family photoshoot if wanted, which is a lovely way to remember the day. Pictures are sent to the party organiser within 4 days.
If the potion making is added to the party our fairy party entertainers also introduce our Magical Woodland Potions which the children get to take home to put in their windows and encourage the local elves and fairies to visit them.
Personal touches can also be added to make the day even more special, e.g. favourite songs, introductions of special guests (e.g. a parent or friend dressed up as a film character or princess etc) or even games/activities created specifically to suit a favourite themed TV, book or film character.
We reserve the right to change or alter the activities described above if there are special requests incorporated or as new games/activities are created, however we will always have a call with the party organiser 1-2 weeks before the party to discuss this, agree on the party flow and ensure the celebrations are extra special for the birthday boy or girl!
Our magic forest potion add on is a super cute way for the children to capture the magic of the party at the end of the entertainment, after they have been made official Elves and Fairies. The children add their choice of potion tint, forest petals, sparkle dust, magic mountain gemstones and river rocks to the raindrops in their potion bottle and top it off with elf honey wine to activate the woodland magic within. The potion can be tipped twice and put in the child’s bedroom window at night to encourage the wild fairies to visit!
All of our parties come with a photography session included and the enchanted forest backdrop plus all of the rustic woodland decor around it make for the perfect woodland photoshoot. We normally do photos of the family before any guests arrive so you get some gorgeous family snaps, plus our little fairy or elf gets to have their photos taken first, all dressed up with a decoupage number to hold so there’s no doubt how old they are turning in the enchanted forest when you look back in the future!

We have fairy wings, flower crowns, woodland headbands, elf capes and elf ears so the little ones can choose whichever they feel suits them best and truly become immersed in the theme! We’ve also collected a gorgeous array of quality woodland themed decorations that come with us to each party and really bring the theme alive.
Our children’s parties really do make dreams come true. We sow the seed for imaginative play and creative learning that continues long after the party. Themed information is weaved into the content of each party by our children’s party entertainers to tease little minds into exploring the topic further and also to encourage positive behaviour such as kindness, curiosity and care for the planet.
