Dinosaur Explorers Parties

Jurassic Park Birthday Parties!

Here’s what happens at our dinosaur themed birthday parties

Our adventure begins with our dinosaur explorer party entertainer welcoming everyone to the dinosaur themed birthday party and letting the children know that we’re going to travel back in time to the Jurassic era for a Jurassic World birthday party, where we will encounter some very exciting explorer items, play some games, take part in some challenges and maybe even meet some real dinosaurs! To prepare for our adventure, we put on our explorer hats and grab a pair of binoculars to start our journey, where we will hopefully experience all the things we need in order to pass the test as real Dinosaur Explorers!

We step into the special time travelling portal at this point to begin our journey back in time, with the help of our parachute and bubble machine. On arrival in the jungle we learn a little about the different dinosaurs before quickly entering the safe valley to play our first game – musical feetosaurus. It’s then time to trek deep into the jungle and eventually our journey leads us to find a sleeping baby T-Rex in his nest!

Baby T-Rex’s can only sleep while music is playing, so we sit in a circle and pass him carefully around until the music stops. He then wakes up and chases one of the explorers opposite him around the circle until they get back to safety and then he falls back asleep to allow us to continue passing him around! When all the children have safely escaped the baby T-Rex he’ll be super tired so we put him back into his nest and begin collecting some of the dinosaur eggs that haven’t hatched yet. There’s a problem though, two pterodactyls are circling overhead and thinking about eating the eggs! We get into teams and sort them into herbivore eggs and carnivore eggs while the pterodactyls try to steal them!

Just as we think we’re safe we will hear some big feet approaching and two Tyrannosaurus Rex’s will arrive who are even hungrier than the Pterodactyls! To save ourselves, we use the eggs and throw them into the T-Rex’s mouths. Thankfully, the eggs fill them up and we don’t get eaten this time!

After all the excitement and danger we begin our journey back through the leafy canopy to the safe valley to play our last game; dinosaur egg pass. Once all the children have won a magic egg we open them together to see if we have indeed become real Dinosaur Explorers! Of course, they will get their special explorer bracelet and a treat and we then journey through the Jurassic Park party portal back into the real world.

The final part of our party involves excavating a real baby dinosaur fossil from the sand we brought back from the past and if the optional potion craft is added, making a fossil preserver potion, which means the children will get to take their fossil home in a special preserving jar! We then move onto singing Happy Birthday and our group, individual and family photoshoot if wanted, which is a lovely way to remember the day. Pictures are sent to the party organiser within 4 days.

Personal touches can also be added to make the day even more special, e.g. favourite songs, introductions of special guests (e.g. a parent or friend dressed up as a superhero, animal or princess etc) or even games/activities created specifically to suit a favourite themed TV, book or film character.

We reserve the right to change or alter the activities described above if there are special requests incorporated or as new games/activities are created etc, however we will always have a call with the party organiser 1-2 weeks before the party to discuss this, agree the party flow and ensure the celebrations are extra special for the birthday boy or girl!

Dinosaur Fossil Preserver Potions

At the end of our Dinosaur Explorer parties the children all gather round and dig up miniature dinosaur fossils from the prehistoric sand to further confirm they are real Dinosaur Explorers! The potions option for this party allows them to keep a fossil and make a Fossil Preserver Potion to take it home in! The children choose a fossil preserving pod and drop their fossil into the volcanic liquor. They then add some coloured preserver, some sparkle dust, some of nature’s petals and some volcanic rocks before topping the solution up with amber syrup. They then seal the pod for all eternity and turn it three times before putting it in the light of a full moon to charge the sparkle dust. It’s a fantastic way to finish off the Dinosaur Explorers party and the perfect party gift for the new Dinosaur Explorers to take home and remember their adventures!

Jurassic Park birthday party props

At our Dinosaur Explorer parties we really get into the Jurassic Park birthday party theme with our binoculars and explorer hats which the children can wear for the party! Jurassic World birthday parties have never been as wholesome, immersive and exciting for little ones as when they dress up and become part of the magical adventure story themselves. Towards the end of the party they all receive a dinosaur explorer bracelet inside their magic egg to take home too, which confirms they have become official Dinosaur Explorers!

Dinosaur birthday theme photos

If your little one (and perhaps not so secretly, you!) have always wanted to go into Jurassic Park then this is the party for you! Our fabulous jungle and dinosaur themed backdrop/decor form the setting for the Dinosaur Explorers party and then truly immerse the children in the Jurassic World theme for a gorgeous photoshoot at the end. We encourage grownups to have photos in front of the backdrop with their little ones also so they get an extra special memory of the party, plus we do group photos and individual ones of each child.

Our children’s entertainers create unique, magical adventure parties to suit all little imaginations

Our children’s parties really do make dreams come true. We sow the seed for imaginative play and creative learning that continues long after the party. Themed information is weaved into the content of each party by our children’s party entertainers to tease little minds into exploring the topic further and also to encourage positive behaviour such as kindness, curiosity and care for the planet.
