We started by welcoming the little ones to our fabulously festive Christmas celebration with some magic sparkle dust, finding out what Christmas meant to them and letting them know all about Christmas cheer – that wonderful warm, excited feeling we get when the magic of Christmas fills you up! The party was all about generating as much Christmas cheer as we could, however there was a problem – The naughty Ice King had put a spell on the elves and they started making Easter eggs instead of Christmas presents! We had to make enough Christmas cheer to break them out of the Ice King’s spell by immersing ourselves in everything Christmassy and filling the room full of joy, laughter and fabulous festive excitement!
We began by getting out our Christmas tree jingle wands and dancing around the room, waving them high so the whole room got full of jingle bell magic. We then played a game of Santa Says, because the elves needed to remember to believe in Santa and do what he says, not the Ice King! We then got into a circle and the naughty Gingerbread Man appeared. He helped the Ice King to cast a spell on the elves and he thought that if he could outrun us, he’d be able to outrun Santa and continue causing mischief! He went round the circle and tapped one of the children on the head and while we chased him everyone shouted ‘run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man!’
After we showed the Gingerbread Man that Christmas cheer always wins we got the partridge in a pear tree out! We all got one of the props from the song and jumped up with our prop when the song mentioned them! It was then time to get our festive number balls out and find out which treat boxes we got! In some boxes there was treat but in some we found a sprout! The Ice King must’ve put a sprout in those boxes to shrink the festive cheer but luckily we knew that watching our grownups do a festive forfeit would raise our spirits even higher!
After that, it was time to remind the elves what we need in order to make a Christmas dinner, so we searched the room for the ingredients, however just as we were about to put them into the shopping basket the Ice King appeared! We got our snowballs out and had a final festive showdown! His powers could freeze us and stop the music but luckily a fairy godmother was on hand to shake some jingle bells to break his spell and we continued to get him with the snowballs and our wonderfully warm festive cheer until his spell over the elves was lifted and they were free to make our Christmas presents, just in time for the big day! We celebrated with a group dance party, a singalong and some real snow from above! The level of festive joy and Christmas cheer in the room made Santa arrive at the party! He joined us for a dance and then went into his grotto to get ready for the Children to visit him.
At that point, we opened the little bauble making shop, got the photoshoot started and everyone spent some time visiting Santa, putting on tattoos and stickers, making their own Christmas baubles and having a gorgeous festive photoshoot before heading off to have their best Christmas ever!
All of our parties are wholesome, whimsical and immersive, and our Christmas celebrations are no exception! In signature Mrs Peach style we explore all of the most wonderful things about the most wonderful time of the year and leave everybody feeling super festive and full of joy. We love to get the grownups involved in some of the games and activities too, so let yourself fill up with Christmas spirit and let’s make this the best Christmas ever!
As with all Mrs Peach Parties we create a super festive backdrop, lavishly garnished with fabulous Christmas decor! Our events have a different backdrop each year so our little ones and their families who have been to previous events will get a brand new setting for their seasonal celebrations each time! We are happy to do individual, family and group photos at all of our events, so feel free to get yourselves and the kids dressed up in festive finery and strike a pose!
Our seasonal events are held at The RAFA Club, Westby House, Golden Hill, Leyland, PR25 3NN. The club is in central Leyland, opposite the Leyland train station car park which is just £1 to park for the whole day.
