We start our outer space party by explaining to the little ones that we will be going into outer space, encountering some strange and incredible items and hopefully graduating as real Space Adventurers! Our journey begins by putting on our magic space capes, stickers and space themed tattoos before investigating a report of UFOs in the forest. We begin our mission and find some crashed UFOs from the Tiny Planet and, after preparing for a flight into outer space with the use of our magic space breathing apparatus, we help the tiny aliens return to their home planet.
From Tiny Planet we spot some dangerous black holes in the distance that look set to swallow up the whole universe, however we have a large number of new galaxies with us on the adventure that we can fill them up with, and so we set about saving the universe from the black holes.
We then need to fly to Jupiter to check on its moons and recharge their magic rainbow force-fields to stop the aliens from stealing them, however upon arrival there are already aliens there who chase us and try to stop us from protecting the moons! We play a game of musical moons with the aliens and once the moons are protected, we chase them far far away!
It’s then back to our care taking duties which involve recharging the sun so it’s extra bright and putting more stars into the sky so it’s extra sparkly! We then spot a new planet in the distance – a silver planet – and go to investigate. The silver planet is filled with Space Robots and so we must pass their tests before they agree not to eat all of the stars we have just put into the sky. Stars make Space Robots extra shiny. Of course, we pass their tests and they agree to go to another universe in search of stars.
It’s then time to return back to Earth for our graduation ceremony, but not before those cheeky aliens from earlier return to block our way home. We take on their challenge and sneak past them – to infinity and beyond! Graduation involves walking down the red carpet to a huge amount of applause, standing on the space box and taking the Space Adventurer Pledge which then leads on to a photo-shoot and of course, a graduation treat and piece of Space Adventurer’s jewellery to confirm their place among the bravest group in the history of the universe.
Following the individual graduations we then take a new Space Adventurer’s class photo and usually sing Happy Birthday at this point, followed by individual photos of the graduates, family pictures and any others you’d like in your photoshoot. If you’re adding on the Galaxy Potions these will then be introduced and the children will be able to create their own galaxies to take home!
Save yourself the trouble of doing party bags and instead let the little Space Adventurers make their own galaxy potion to take home. The children will add a space cloud to their jar and choose some tinted moon water to make it colourful. They will then add some sparkles to it and repeat until their jar is full of different space layers, creating their very own unique galaxy! This, along with their Space Adventurer necklace and photos will remind them of the adventure they went on at the party and to always reach for the stars.
We love getting (willing) grownups involved in our adventures and the Space Adventure party gives several grownups the opportunity to transform into aliens and become part of the story with their little ones! With the help of our alien glasses and headbands the children get super excited as they run away from the aliens who show up to try and stop them from protecting Jupiter’s moons! This will certainly be an alien birthday to remember!
As with all of our magical adventure parties, we provide gorgeous decorations and the space birthday theme backdrop forms the focal point for the party as well as transforming into an outer space photography set afterwards! We also usually do the ‘Happy Birthday’ song and cake in front of the backdrop and capture this too. The children will have photo opportunities in front of the backdrop when they graduate as real Space Adventurers as well as taking part in the group photos, individual photos and photos with their grownups if wanted.
Our children’s parties really do make dreams come true. We sow the seed for imaginative play and creative learning that continues long after the party. Themed information is weaved into the content of each party by our children’s party entertainers to tease little minds into exploring the topic further and also to encourage positive behaviour such as kindness, curiosity and care for the planet.
