Pirate Birthday Parties

Here’s what happens at our Pirate themed birthday parties

Our pirate parties are perfect for those little ones who search out adventure wherever they go! We begin by welcoming the children in with pirate/sea themed stickers and tattoos plus some sunshine sparkle, as well as directing them to the pirate hats and eye patches they are welcome to borrow for the duration of the party! Once we’re settled, Captain Peach Carumba will introduce the children to a magical adventure story and invite them to take part in the treasure hunt to find the hidden pirates treasure and become real pirates themselves!

The story begins with a message in a bottle that has washed ashore! We open it to discover our first clue and a secret treasure map with instructions that we must find some more clues that will lead us to the hidden treasure! The children then search the room for six more clues which they find inside small bags of pirate treasure. The second clue invites them to learn the ways of pirate life, including practicing pirate sayings and completing a series of pirate actions such as learning port, starboard, washing the decks and steering the ship. We complete our pirate life training and then move onto the next clue!

The third clue tells them to walk the plank, jump into the ocean and feed the jellyfish, so we spend time doing just that with our plank, sea and jellyfish props; feeding the jellyfish with the special bubbles and making them nice and full before we move onto the fourth clue. Our fourth clue speaks of the desert islands that lead the way to Pirate Island where the treasure is hidden. We must swim quickly though, as there’s a shark who’s ready to bite our bums if we don’t move fast! A willing grownup will be chosen from the audience at this point to put on a shark hat and chase the children around while they swim quickly and then jump onto the island mats for safety when the music stops. They’ll eventually outrun the shark and swim onto the shore at Pirate Island, hopefully without a bitten bum and see the Skeleton Captain, Captain Jack!

It’s then onto our fifth clue – making a fish stew for Captain Jack! It’s not just as easy as scooping the fish up from the sea though as two naughty crabs (another two willing grownups!) are going to chase the children around and throw the fish back into the sea! Of course, the trainee pirates will win and the stew is given to Captain Jack who then gives us the magic treasure chest and we open our sixth clue! This is where we all grab our grownups to sit in a line with us on the floor as we form a magic pirate ship and do the actions to ‘oops upside your head’ as we row our way back to shore and to victory!

Upon reaching the shore again we celebrate finding the magic treasure chest and realise that the magic treasure chest has transformed into a magic parcel! We open our seventh clue which instructs the pirates to shout their new pirate sayings and wave their pirate flags as a victory dance! We then sit in a circle to do pass the parcel with our new treasure parcel, where all of the children will receive a golden coin and a pirate bracelet which will confirm they have become real pirates! It’s then on to the group photoshoot, happy birthday and individual photos before the children then make their pirate potion (if this is added on) and go sit down for some food!

Personal touches can also be added to make the day even more special, e.g. favourite songs, introductions of special guests (e.g. a parent or friend dressed up as a superhero, animal or princess etc) or even games/activities created specifically to suit a favourite themed TV, book or film character.

We reserve the right to change or alter the activities described above if there are special requests incorporated or as new games/activities are created etc, however we will always have a call with the party organiser the week of the party to discuss this, agree the party flow and ensure the celebrations are extra special for the birthday boy or girl!

Pirate Potions

All of our parties have a themed magic potion option to add on which works fantastically instead of a party bag! The children will join together as a fantastic pirate crew to solve the riddles, pass the challenges and find the lost treasure. They’ll then receive a pirate bracelet as their pass the parcel gift, along with a golden coin! Adding on the pirate potion will allow them to create another themed gift to take home and remember their adventures!

Pirate Props

All of the props for our parties are authentic and quality, which just adds to the overall look and feel of the occasion. We decorate our backdrop with amazing themed props, plus, most children love dressing up and we’ve got that option for them as part of the pirate party! No pirate would be complete without their pirate hat and eye patch so the children are welcome to borrow these items for the duration of the party and/or the photoshoot! Grownups are also welcome to borrow them for their photos too!

Pirate Photoshoot

Our fabulous beach and pirate ship background is the perfect backdrop to lead the party in front of and then truly immerse the children in the pirate theme for a gorgeous photoshoot at the end. We encourage grownups to have photos in front of the backdrop with their little ones also so they get an extra special memory of the party, plus we do group photos and individual ones of each child.
