Welcome to our beautiful tropical beach, where it’s sunny every day and adventures are guaranteed! Today’s adventure involves a journey to the island paradise in the distance which has lots of ripe and tasty fruits, and if legend is to be believed, could have some hidden secrets too! The boats are in use by the fishermen today but we have some magical sea sparkle dust given to us by the Witch Doctor which allows us to breathe underwater, so we’re going to swim across and fill our baskets with the tastiest fruits so we can make mocktails and fruit salads!
We begin by practising our swimming strokes before we get into the water so we all know what to do when it’s time to do front crawl, breaststroke, back crawl or butterfly. We then learn about all of the creatures in the ocean by doing our sea creatures moves game and imitating crabs, sharks, dolphins, whales, seahorses and lots of other sea creatures. Once we’re confident how to swim and how to blend in with the sea creatures, it’s time to begin our journey.
The first sea creature we meet is the jellyfish as we accidentally swim straight into jellyfish cove! It’s ok though, we’ve got some jellyfish food with us so the children each pick up a jellyfish and make sure they eat enough before they fall asleep and allow us past! As we swim further we see a dark figure in the distance – a shark who likes to bite little children’s bums! We quickly find loads of fish to feed to him as he makes his approach and we stuff the fish into his mouth to fill him up and to keep our bums bite free. The shark is full and slow now but he’s gathering his strength to try again, so we decide it’s time to swim really fast as he chases us. Luckily we spot a load of little desert islands on the way to the island paradise so as we swim away from the shark we jump onto the desert islands to escape him before he gives up and lets us continue on to the island paradise!
After a short swim from our desert islands we finally arrive safely on the beach at the island paradise. We prepare to collect the fruit and have a look around, however we hear a strange noise – it’s Maui the strapping tattooed Demigod who has been trapped on the island alone for many years! He starts to sing and we all get wrapped up in a dance with him! At the end of the song we agree with Maui that we’ll take him back to our tropical beach if he gives us the magic treasure. He agrees and goes off to find it while we start picking the fruit from the trees. It should be simple, however two naughty monkeys jump down from the branches and start trying to steal back our fruit! We manage to get it all and the monkeys run away as Maui returns with the treasure and it’s time for us all to return to our beach by forming a magical people boat and doing the super fun rowing moves to oops upside your head!
We arrive back on shore safely and we take turns taking a piece of fruit each under the limbo stick and into the kitchen to be prepared for the party. Once we’ve delivered the fruit we try a magic spell to see if we can make enough wind to shake the coconuts from the trees and turn the falling coconuts into sweets! It’s Flamingo Freeze next where we show off our best island moves and stand on one foot when the music stops like flamingos. We then celebrate our amazing adventures with our sunshine shakers and each get a tropical flower necklace to take home! It’s then on to the photoshoot in front of our beautiful tropical beach backdrop and the children will also get a golden coin from the treasure chest.
Personal touches can also be added to make the day even more special, e.g. favourite songs, introductions of special guests (e.g. a parent or friend dressed up as a superhero, animal or princess etc) or even games/activities created specifically to suit a favourite themed TV, book or film character.
We reserve the right to change or alter the activities described above if there are special requests incorporated or as new games/activities are created etc, however we will always have a call with the party organiser the week of the party to discuss this, agree the party flow and ensure the celebrations are extra special for the birthday boy or girl!
All of our parties have a themed magic potion option to add on which works fantastically instead of a party bag! The children will join together on a tropical beach adventure and then at the end they’ll get a beautiful Hawaiian flower necklace as their ‘pass the parcel’ gift, along with a treat. Adding on the tropical beach potion will allow them to create another themed gift to take home and remember their adventures!
We get asked a lot if we do a ‘Stitch party’ or a ‘Moana party’ by people who don’t just want a character to simply turn up for photographs, but instead are looking for the kind of magic that we bring. We advise that we have lots of music from Moana and Lilo and Stitch in the party, which are both set on tropical beaches, plus we have a Maui costume for a willing family member or friend to wear as part of the party, so by simply adding some specific Stitch or Moana decor this party is a great choice!
Our fabulous tropical beach themed backdrop/decor form the setting for the party and then truly immerse the children in the Hawaiian beach theme for a gorgeous photoshoot at the end. We encourage grownups to have photos in front of the backdrop with their little ones also so they get an extra special memory of the party, plus we do group photos and individual ones of each child.
