We start off with a wellness circle where we do introductions to the concepts of wellness and self care while enjoying a relaxing foot soak. The children create their own foot bath potion with the petals, mini fizzing bath bombs and bath salts provided and while they enjoy that we do some head massages and learn some breathing exercises using feathers, flowers and different parts of their bodies which gives the children some tools to help regulate themselves if they ever feel overwhelmed or upset. We then move onto an introduction to reflexology and then on to our mindfulness and confidence boosting activities. Each child will get a journal and pen to take home to continue their wellness practices..
Stretching and basic yoga comes next before a session of ecstatic dance under our parachute to their favourite uplifting music and then a gemstone based pass the parcel and overview of crystal healing. The children will all get a treat and a piece of real gemstone jewellery to take home along with a summary of what the gemstone they have received is for. The gemstones we use mostly are amethyst, rose quartz, amazonite, pink opal & lapis lazuli.
It is then time to put on our beautiful satin robes and and fluffy headbands and sit down at our pamper table where we cleanse our faces and then head to the face mask station with our facial bowls to make a natural face mask potion to dip our sheet masks in (ingredients are olive oil, coconut oil, natural yogurt, avocado, blueberries, raspberries, honey and oats). Once back at the table we mix up our potion with some water and add the sheet mask to soak up the natural goodness. We then put the masks on and move back to the wellness circle where we lay down with cucumbers on our eyes. While we’re relaxing we try some basic meditation where the children journey to their happy place. It’s then back to the table to try our rollers and scrapers to massage the face and stimulate blood flow before cleansing our faces again and moving back over to the wellness circle to sing Happy Birthday and have a gorgeous photoshoot to capture the special occasion.
We bring everything we need to make any venue into a super cute spa environment and so, provided you have room for both the wellness circle and pamper tables, we can do a wellness and pamper party at home, a friend/family member’s house or at a hired venue of your choice within 30 minutes drive of Leyland, Lancs if you need more room! Our Mini Retreats are also perfect if you’re having a special sleepover and want a pamper party at home to keep the children occupied and get them into a super zen head space before they go to bed. Introducing little ones to self care is such a wonderful experience and one that little girls get super excited about! Our spa themed birthday party goes beyond the typical pamper party activities and includes all elements of wellness; including pampering, movement, breathing techniques, foot soaks, face masks, reflexology, healing crystals, ecstatic dance, self confidence and positive mindset activities, plus the children all get a wellness journal and pen plus a treat, piece of beautiful gemstone jewellery and a photoshoot as part of the Mini Retreat spa party!
Every little girl (we have had some boys at our mini retreats too!) absolutely loves being treated like a princess and our Mini Retreat certainly makes every little one feel like royalty, however for those super girly girls who want more of a pamper element to their party we are currently in the process of creating a princess pamper party! This will include elements of our Prince and Princess party with nail painting, face glitter, face gems, crown making and a princess photoshoot! This will be ready for parties from May 2024 so watch this space!
Our children’s parties really do make dreams come true. We sow the seed for imaginative play and creative learning that continues long after the party. Themed information is weaved into the content of each party by our children’s party entertainers to tease little minds into exploring the topic further and also to encourage positive behaviour such as kindness, curiosity and care for the planet.
